| Concrete/Wooden Abdy Bollards... |
This particular site hasn't been going that long but bollards has and it's moments like this that make it all worth while when you manage to find a bollard(s) so special.
A special thank you to @Bathcat on the twitter for providing me with these wonderful pictures of these amazing bollards of which are located on the verge of a field in the village of Abdy, South Yorkshire (please note map reference on this page is not accurate).

If we take a close look at the picture (above) we can see clearly the wooden core/centre and then what appears to be a very basic concrete mix. I must say if it wasn't for the wooden core you might mistake this for a pile of old dung. I jest and must say these bollards almost look 'stoneage', don't they look fantastic lining the grass verge.
